I need your help!

Hi everyone!

so I don’t know about you all but I am feeling SO tired today! Waking up at 8:30 this morning for class was beyond brutal..that and my bed is so comfortable I never want to leave it ever

But anywho lets talk about yesterday

I spent about 3 hours at panera studying so naturally I had to get my favorite you pick 2 combo!

Thai chicken salad with chicken noodle soup and multigrain bread.. SO good. Panera’s bread is da bomb

And yesterday in between the madness I managed to squeeze in a quick circuit workout in my apartment with my friend Lindsay

done 5 times through!

And dinner last night was a delicious egg white omelet!

I sauteed up some mushrooms, spinach, and grape tomatoes. Then added in about 1 cup of egg whites and goat cheese. All topped with some siracha hot sauce..this is one of my favorite go-to meals!

Now onto the important part of this post! I need your help! UDANCE is this Sunday which is a dance marathon my school holds every year to raise money for the B+ Foundation which raises money for child cancer reseach and helps families of kids with cancer all over the country!

Below is the donation letter I have sent out to several people already, but figured I would also post it on my blog to get as much support and donations as possible!

Family and Friends,

Please help me fight childhood cancer.  46 kids are diagnosed with cancer each school day.

I’m participating in UDance to make a difference.

I’m participating as a member of Alpha Delta Pi in the University of Delaware’s UDance(www.UDanceDelaware.org) on March 11th from 11am – 11pm. UDance is the largest student-run philanthropy at the University of Delaware. My organization is trying to raise $20,000 this year! The money raised will go toward finding a cure for childhood cancer in partnership with The Andrew McDonough B+ (Be Positive) Foundation (www.BePositive.org).

The B+ Foundation is my sorority’s local philanthropy.  It was started, in 2007, by the family of one of my Alpha Delta Pi sisters, Ali, after her brother passed away from Leukemia when he was 14.

Please help me by making a contribution online; however big or small–anything counts and will help me reach my goal.

 1. Click here http://udancedelaware.info/donate/?donation_team_id=68&donation_team_member_id=0

 2. Find my name and click on it. (Chelcie Ross)

 3. Complete the online form and safely use your credit card to make a donation.

 4. You’ll receive an online receipt for tax purposes.

Thank you for helping us fight to give the kids a tomorrow. Please forward this to others so we can reach our goal!

The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation (www.BePositive.org) was born out of tragedy after athlete and ‘A’ student Andrew McDonough passed away from complications of leukemia on July 14th 2007, at age 14. Andrew’s blood type and the family’s motto was, and continues to be, “B+”… “Be Positive.” The overall goal of The B+ Foundation is to “Do Good.” With your help, they will continue to achieve their primary objectives:

 – Sponsor research to find cures for childhood cancers and advancements in chemotherapy. The B+ Foundation has funded over $550,000 of childhood cancer research.
– Provide financial assistance for families of children with cancer nationwide. In 2011, alone, The B+ Foundation awarded over $500,000 to families in need.

Keep the B+ message alive! Andrew taught us to have fun, show affection, set goals, try our best, and keep our lives in perspective. We should all “Live Like Andrew.”

If you will take time out of your day today to even donate just a dollar I will be SO grateful! It takes about a minute to donate and every donation counts!

For the rest of the day I will be decorating for big/little week (I’ll take pictures and show you all tomorrow) and if I have the energy I’ll be going to the gym a little later! or maybe just do bodyrock? We’ll see!

Time to go take a quick nap!

I hope everyone has a great day and PLEASE donate!!
